Does any additional software need to be downloaded to use your online training?
No, our online gas safety training courses are designed to run on any system. They are accessed using a standard internet browser on a PC, Mac, laptop, i-Pad or notepad.
Do learners have to complete the online course all in one go?
No, our online training system allows learners to log in and out as they wish. There is no time limit on how long it takes a learner to complete their training and the courses are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is even possible to start the training using one computer and then carry on using another.
Can we monitor our learners?
Yes, ‘admin’ access to our online training system is included in the price of every workshop. It enables organizations to check on their learners’ progress, access copy certificates, run reports and manage their stock of online workshops.
How long will it take to complete an online workshop?
The time taken to complete one of our online gas safety training workshop depends on which workshop is being studied and the learners pre-existing knowledge. The average time to complete each individual module of a course will be provided as a guide to the learner.
I’m not very good with computers, will it be difficult?
No, the workshops have been designed in association with IT professionals and are suited to all computer skill levels.
Are there course notes?
Yes there are. On successful completion of their training workshop each learner is given online access to the course support documentation, which remains available to them indefinitely and is updated free of charge.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, as long as you score 75% or more you will be given online access to your personal course certificate that confirms you have successfully completed the training. The certificate is in PDF format, meaning you can print it and/or download and save it. The certificate is valid for 2 years.
How are these online gas safety training workshops different from just watching a video online?
Our workshops include graphics, tips and real world examples, all designed to keep the training engaging and entertaining. Their structure requires the learner to interact with them in order to progress through their training, which a video does not. Also, as our training is tested and the learner has to score 75% or more to pass they must demonstrate a level of understanding. Simply viewing a video does not guarantee any level of understanding, nor that the learner concentrated on it.
